Poll: What Do You Think?
With all the discussion about Sean Avery, Tom Renney, the teams needs, and the teams management, let’s get a grasp on what everyone thinks. The poll is below on the right.
So what do you think the Rangers need the most?
If you’ve been keeping up with this blog, you know my answer…

That’s a tough question, considering the Rangers probably need everything there. I think you ultimately have to get a new coach though, being that thats the most important cog in any team. Been saying it for years and even at the time it happened, but they should’ve hired Joel Quenneville when they had the chance.

Gee, I can’t remember the last time we talked about Quenneville.
I was torn between new coach and front office overhaul. Sather needs to go. But Dolan will never get rid of him.

The problem is that Dolan really doesn’t give a crap about the Rangers, so unless does something like piss on the Garden faithful, he isn’t going anywhere. A coach with a new philosophy is the biggest need. Problem is that Renney can control Avery somewhat, so if they do eventually get him, what kind of relationship will he have with the new coach

Hence why I made that post. My problem isn’t Avery now, it’s Avery when Renney is gone, especially if he’s replaced with Tortorella.

Yeah, that would be explosive haha. Its a dicey situation no question about it. But winning cures everything….

Not necessarily, I mean, the Rangers are winning (or were winning), but yet it’s not curing everything.

Where’s the Defensemen that don’t suck poll option?
By Nick, February 9, 2009 @ 5:31 pm
winning meaning actually winning something (division titles, more than one playoff series, etc)

Matt, I forgot about that option, mostly because I see Sanguinetti and Del Zotto in the future and get excited.
