Why Aren’t They Signed Yet?
Why aren’t Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky signed yet? Sather, if you screw this up, someone, not me, may actually attempt to hurt you. I wouldn’t be surprised. As for me, I would just cancel my season ticket subscription.
Stop the madness! It’s been a week since the Finals ended, and all we know is that you have had “preliminary talks” with Dubi. What about Cally? GET THEM SIGNED!!!!.
Don’t do what you normally do with RFAs, and wait it out! Reward these kids, and leave a good taste in their mouths so when they hit their UFA years, they actually want to stay!
Glen? Where are you? Glen? Bueller?
Update 6:10pm: Forgot to include the link for the preliminary talks. That info came from Steve Zipay.

He’s probably fishing in Alberta. Seriously, how does this guy still have a job?

He’s riding the success of his Oiler days. Like the way Keenan is riding the success of 1994.
Sather has a history of waiting until the last minute to sign his RFAs. It’s going to bite him in the ass.

I read last week that Callahan’s agent expects to talk to Sather at the draft. I also read that Dubinsky is close to signing. I believe it was Newsday.

I’m assuming you are referring to Zipay’s blog entry for the Dubi thing. That’s where the “preliminary talks” came from in this post. I forgot to add the link, thanks for reminding me.
As for Cally, I would feel much more comfortable if they just got him signed before the draft.
