Blair Betts Heads to Philly
It’s official, Blair Betts is a former Ranger. Betts, unable to secure an NHL contract, has been given a tryout with the Philadelphia Flyers (as per the Flyers Twitter page). Betts is a classy guy, and it’s surprising that the top penalty killer in the league couldn’t get a contract. Good luck to him, even if it is for the Flyers.

its terrible news for the Rangers.
not only do we play a strong team 6 times already but they’re lethal enough with Carter and Richards on the PK but now are adding a great shot blocker, face off guy and PK specialist which allows Richards to take a few risks?
Not good news for us! hopefully he ends up elsewhere!!!!
