Game 17: Rangers At Oilers
The Rangers travel to Edmonton to face our old friend Tom Renney and the Oilers. As Dave noted, Steve Valliquette is in goal, and Enver Lisin is back in the lineup. Dane Byers, of course, is suspended.
The Oilers are very young and very talented, but have been hit hard by injuries. They also have a resurgent Dustin Penner.
Tonight is a big game for the Rangers. They’ve hit a bit of a wall, and a win would do wonders. Game time is at 9:30. Now that the Yankees have won, it’s all Rangers, all the time. Watch the game, discuss, and most of all, have fun.

Listening to pregame on the radio made me very nostalgic for Tom Renney. They interviewed him and I forgot how articulate he was, and what a good guy he was.

These west coasters are rough. I’m too tired by the time I get home.
