He cetainly hasnt earnt his money yet unless you count a few unnecessary majors and a single assist. This team needs to pony up and get aggressive. Problem is due to the Flames game we have now lost one of better PK'ers and one of the more physical players in Dubinsky. His cap hit at the start of the year was 933k and while we still have that 850k space his hit would be pro rated. Assume 6-7 weeks into the season he'd be narrowly under the 850. I dont think it'll be him anyway as he's only now really beginning to hit his straps professionally and they'll want him to continue that momentum. Besides Parenteau deserves to be up here. I wonder if this forces them to sign Dandenault though.... its well known that he's not just a reliable depth defenceman but can play effectively on the bottom 6 wing spots.
