Game 20: Rangers at Senators

The Rangers look to get off the snide (again) this afternoon against the Senators. The last time the Rangers played the Sens, it started a seven game win streak that had many commentators pegging the Rangers as contenders. Since that seven game win streak, the Blueshirts are 4-6-1. The Rangers need to get back on the winning track.

The Rangers called up P.A. Parenteau to add some scoring spark. Here are the lines for today:

Lisin-Prospal-Gaborik

Parenteau-Higgins-Kotalik

Avery-Anisimov-Callahan

Brashear-Boyle-Voros

D pairs, as always, are the same. Henrik is goal. Like I said, this is a big game for the Rangers. A win could do wonders for their confidence. A loss could send them into a tailspin.

Use this as your game thread. This lazy Saturday afternoon has tons of comments written all over it. Let’s do it!

Well, they at least tried to get in the face of some Sens when they were crowding Hank,

I wouldn’t be opposed to leaving Brashear on a side street in Ottawa…

“Where have you gone, Jonathan Cheechoo? Joe Thornton is no longer on your side… Wo,Wo,Wo. What’s that you say, Johnathan Cheechoo, your success was just a one year thing…Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey.”- Simon and Garfunkel
