New Lines in Practice

With Ilkka Heikkinen and Chad Johnson called up, the Rangers had a “full squad” practice today. According to Andrew Gross, the lines were shaken up a bit:

It’s about time that Anisimov got his shot on the first line. It’s something I have wanted to see all year, hopefully it works out. I like the pairing of Heikkinen with Gilroy, who has been the most steady defensive defenseman on the team thus far. It gives Heikkinen some leeway and some room to make some mistakes.
