Game 57: Rangers vs Capitals

Our beloved Blueshirts are back home, looking to gel with new acquisitions, and score some goals.

OPPONENT: Washington Alexanders Capitals

RECORD: 38-12-6

LEADING SCORER: Alex Ovechkin, 36-41-77

GOALIE: Jose Theodore, 2.76 GAA and a .910 save percentage.

RANGERS LINES:

Prospal-Christensen-Gaborik

Dubinsky-Jokinen-Callahan

Lisin-Anisimov-Avery

Prust-Drury-Boyle

Hank in net.

STATE OF THE RANGERS: As always, up and down. Good game against the Avs. Can’t score against the Kings. We need time to see how Jokinen meshes with the team. I think Jokinen with Cally and Dubi could be a nice fit. But, bottom line, they need to score. I don’t care if Lundqvist scores. Everyone needs to chip in. Gaborik has been hot of late. He needs a miracle lot of help.

CRAZY THOUGHT: Jokinen scores his first Ranger goal.

FINAL PREDICTION: Caps have won 11 straight. Streak ain’t stopping tonight. Caps 4, Rangers 2

mother of god. Kovalchuk to the Devils. Why?! is there a conspiracy thatevery young phenom (not named AO) is due to play in the atlantic against us? Sid, Malkin, Tavares, Kovalchuk, hell even James Van Riemsdyk…. this division is young and scary good. we need to be very creative or get Taylor Hall in the summer LOL
