Gaborik Out Tonight
Marian Gaborik, who effectively provides 25% of the Rangers offense, will be out for a second straight game tonight. Unlike the previous injury in November, where Gaborik was out with a knee injury, this one is much more worrisome. Gaborik’s groin has been the hot topic of conversation for the past year, and now is the main reason for concern on Broadway.
If the Rangers are going to make a playoff push, they are going to need a healthy Gaborik, or they are going to need to prove that last night’s second period explosion was not an anomaly.

Well, at the the Olympics got a good TV rating..haha. I’m def in support of NHLers going to the Olympics, buuuut, this is the risk you run.
Now, if it is in fact his groin, that’s not good at all. Groins are a tricky thing, and it’s not like they heal within a time line, like say a knee injury would.
