Hagelin/Michigan Make It To Frozen Four
Carl Hagelin’s great senior year at Michigan continues, as his Wolverines won their first and second round games in the NCAA Tournament to make it to the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota this year. Michigan’s wins came against the University of Nebraska-Omaha (3-2) this past Friday in overtime, and Colorado College (2-1) on Saturday. Hagelin did not factor in the scoring in these games, but was a presence on the ice and was making plays with his speed. Hagelin’s speed is probably his greatest asset, as he was constantly beating the opposition to the puck and creating plays.
Michigan’s next game is April 7 against the very tough North Dakota squad who was the #2 team heading into the tournament. The Finals will be played on April 9, where should Michigan prevail against UND, they will face the winner of Notre Dame and Minnesota-Duluth. Both semi-final games will be on ESPN2.
