is there a mlbtraderumors.com equivalent for hockey rumors?
I refuse to really read hockeybuzz.com and thefourthperiod.com

Andrei Kostitsyn to Preds for 2012 2nd Round pick and conditional 2013 5th Round pick.
Nashville just fleeced MTL.
Thanks. Updated the post.
There’s a note on the yahoo fantasy page under Dubi’s status that he’s practicing with the team today in NY and NYR is out on the talks with Columbus re: Nash.
Any chance this is true?
I heard last night that Sather had pulled out of Nash negotiations.
But, for what it’s worth, all the players involved in trade rumors, e.g. Dubinsky, Nash, Malone, Knuble, are practicing today…
Business as usual, until it’s not.
yeah, I guess it was the NYR out of Nash talks comment that surprised me
Nick Kypreos, usually pretty reliable, and Katie Strang both reported last night that NY was out of the negotiation due to Columbus’ unwillingness to come down from their asking price. We shall know soon enough whether this is the case…
Interesting: video of city worker taking down Rick Nash banner in downtown Columbus this morning.

very interesting.
Tom Gilbert from EDM for Nick Schultz from MIN.
BSB:
Unconfirmed rumor that Detroit D Brad Stuart dealt to Rangers for picks.
If confirmed, why?!
Stuart is a 32 year-old past-his-prime defenseman who doesn’t particularly bring any offensive prowess that might be beneficial to our PP. This makes no sense.
Chris, Garrioch shot this down a few minutes ago
Good!
Dan Winnick from COL to SJ. Not sure what the Avalanche got in return.
*Colorado
Returns:
Daniel Winnik and T.J. Galiardi from Colorado to SJ for Jamie McGinn and prospects Mike Connelly and Michael Sgarbossa.
Blue Jackets send Sami Pahlsson to Vancouver for two 4th Round picks.
What is Colorado doing? They seem like they make moves just to make moves. Is Jamie McGinn that much better than Kyle Quincy to give up 2 rost players for? I clearly don’t know anything about the prospects they got back… but that is a team taht lacks direction. See Quincey’s quotes after being dealt, very interesting.
Mike Mottau to Boston.
Yannick Riendeau and Marc Cantin to the Islanders.
Update 3:04pm: Via Dreger, Nash will be staying in Columbus. Rangers in on it till the end.
Per Andrew Gross, Rangers to announce minor deal shortly…
This must be some kind of a record. The rangers only made one trade this entire season. Has that ever happened before
Christensen, Wolski, Scott. Three trades.
and Kundratek
Forgot about him.
hockeybuzz says we got John Scott for a 5th round
No Clue why? John Scott
well I guess it can’t really hurt to stand pat, but this was a disappointing deadline
THE John Scott?!?!
John Scott? What is he going to bring that we don’t already have? Any deals should have been centered around improving the Power Play or giving us a little more offensive fire power.
This seems like a move simply for the sake of making a move.
With that said, I think Sather and the rest of management sent a very important message to the team today: confidence.
Yes they did. And Lets hope that the team takes the management’s message and Builds off of it.
But seriously John Scott? Bickel much better and younger of a player.
John Scott is AHL depth, simply put.
Yes, I suppose that’s a valid point. It would make sense, as the Whale are severely lacking.
